Construction Update - June 2009

ASR Ltd have confirmed that 7 of the 18 geo-textile bags which make up the top layer of the surf reef have now been completed.

The reef consists of two layers - a bottom layer with two sections A & B (37 bags in total) and a top layer consisting of sections C (10 bags) and D (8 bags). The second layer sits on top of the existing bags which were finished last year. Section C bags get progressively bigger towards the centre of the reef, the largest being 70 metres long by 6 metres high, although they will actually form an oval shape when filled. # Read More
