New Surfing Academy Opens at Bournemouth & Poole College

Bournemouth and Poole College is opening a ‘Surfing Academy’ from September 2009.
Students will learn the science and skills of the sport and have lessons from south coast champion Terry Crump.
Lessons will include surf fitness, nutrition, psychology, contest techniques, and lifeguarding. The College also hopes to develop close links with the University of Plymouth, which offers a degree in Surf Science.
