Of course they first make sure that the reef remains slightly unfinished so that they have something to blame. . ..  that will take a couple of years at least.</description>

I seem to remember that the reef was originally going to increase wave height by between 100 and 300% (I think this was then corrected to a 100% !!).  The latest article suggests an increase of only 15-20%.  I appreciate that the reef will provide a more rideable wave but why such a drastic decrease in expected size?  Bournemouth rarely gets swell of more than 3ft which is pretty small by anyone&#039;s standards so one would have thought wave size would have been of importance?
