The neglected wooden and concrete 1958 Overstrand building is getting a makeover this year, with the addition of 31 new beach huts. These ’surf pods’ have been designed by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway MBE – creators of the iconic Red or Dead fashion brand.
Wayne talks about how he plans to transform the area directly overlooking Bournemouth’s Surf Reef.
